Job Description: ERP Sales Specialist
Job Type: Full-Time, In-House
Reports To: Senior Sales Manager / Head of Sales
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and driven ERP Sales Specialist to join our growing team. This role is focused on driving sales and revenue growth for our suite of ERP solutions across industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling ERP products, the ability to understand client business processes, and the skills to position our ERP offerings as value-driven solutions.
You will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, engaging with prospective clients, and working with internal teams to deliver tailored ERP solutions that meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
ERP Solution Sales:
- Identify and engage potential clients across industries for ERP sales opportunities.
- Understand client requirements and align ERP solutions to meet business needs.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers.
- Act as a trusted advisor for clients by offering insights on ERP solutions and industry best practices.
- Provide after-sales support to ensure smooth transition and client satisfaction.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with pre-sales, product, marketing, and implementation teams.
- Ensure the right ERP modules and solutions are proposed based on client needs.
- Contribute to solution design and documentation during the proposal phase.
Sales Reporting & Pipeline Management:
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in CRM systems.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, forecasts, and key metrics.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to inform strategy.
Presentations & Demonstrations:
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demos to prospects and clients.
- Tailor sales pitches to different industries and business sizes.
- Address client objections effectively and showcase product value and ROI.
Qualifications:
Education:
- MBA (Sales & Marketing)/B.Tech with Proven Track records in Sales
- Manufacturing ERP-related certifications or training is a plus.
Experience:
- 24 years of experience in Manufacturing/Production ERP product sales (any ERP system such as SAP (B1 & HANA Only) /Light House/Bsquare/Easy/Logic/ERPNext/Focus).
- Proven track record in B2B sales with mid-size and enterprise clients.
- Experience in solution selling and consultative sales approach.
Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Understanding of ERP systems, business workflows, and key pain points.
- Familiarity with CRM tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously.
Must Be:
- Knowledge of sales
- Production Planning
- Material Requisition Planning
- Production BOM
- Exposure to different ERP systems and their market positioning.
- Understanding of specific industry processes (manufacturing)
- Experience working with pre-sales and implementation teams on solution design.
