THE ROLE
This is a great opportunity for a self-starter to take ownership of a portfolio of products with a focus in markets, ensuring their success day-to-day including: content and creative on the listing, marketing tactics, financial health of the business, customer service, risk mitigation and compliance, inventory and developing strategies for growth. Your success will be based on your intimate knowledge of the managing a brand, ability to diagnose issues and develop action plans.
Some specific responsibilities include:
- Oversee and manage company's licensed brand portfolio including exploring and signing new licenses, as well as developing and growing current signed brands.
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors- activities.
- Collaborate with buyers and merchandisers to expand product categories. Oversee the entire brand process to ensure that the integrity and image of the brand is projected correctly in the marketplace.
- Managing the Profit and loss of the assigned business.
- Assist in developing an annual brand calendar, manage budgets and track expenditures.
- Map competition on product offerings/features, advertising and marketing initiatives and publish the actionable insights regularly.
- Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates.
- Plan, coordinate and timely execute all strategic and tactical campaigns for marketing as well as other cross-functional teams - with help from internal teams and/or external agencies.
- Category management - knowledge of category management, marketing and sales principles.
- Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights.
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors- activities.
- Handling a team of existing members assisting the HR team for the manpower.
- Track communication best practices across industries and share with internal stakeholders to derive inspiration.
- Responsible for on-time completion of the tasks for self and the team.
What you bring to the party:
- 7+ Years of experience in E commerce or retail industry
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong decision maker.
- Bachelor's degree & experience in eCommerce(Mandatory) Experience in retail brands and international brands will be an add on advantage.
- Analytic Skills: Ability to think objectively and interpret quantitative and qualitative data.
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Qualification- Graduate/ Post Graduate
