In order to strengthen our team, we are looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner to manage the client requirements and play a vital role in the product development cycle for a group of products.

Job Mission: The job holder will be a key member of the product management team responsible for understanding the client requirements, managing client expectations regarding these requirements and ensuring that product enhancements / new features are incorporated as a part of the product in line with the prevailing and emerging market trends.
Key Areas of Responsibility :
- Improve/enrich existing products with innovative ideas considering overall Hospitality Industry scenario with relation to online distribution and shopping.
- Conceptualize new products looking at the future need of the Hospitality Industry.
- Be the conduit through which requirements flow from the external customers to the software development team. Be the voice of the customers within the technical development group
- Elicit requirements using document analysis, requirements workshops, website visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs and reconcile conflicts.
Job Description
Sr. Business Analyst / Product Owner
- Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using simple language.
- Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.
- Responsible for Business Requirement Document, Product Release Document, testing of GUI and maintenance of the product backlog.
- Initiate process improvement and maintain quality records and ensure compliance to process standards.
- Keep track of the changing scenario of the marketplace and do own research to identify customer's needs going forward.
- Build and maintain profitable long-term relationships with customers by ensuring that customer expectations are met - status of assignments, delivery schedule, quality standards etc.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Hotel Management or equivalent education and experience. Experience as a Revenue Manager in a Hotel will be an advantage.
- Excellent domain knowledge: Hospitality Industry, Hotel distribution, and Revenue Management function. Should have handled projects/products involving competitive shopping.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Hands on experience leading to a good understanding of Channel Management, PMS, CRS and GDS applications.
- Experience of working and dealing with International clients.
- Knowledge of User Interface Design & Wireframes.
- Ability to understand and deal with large transactional data / Big Data, HTNG, and XML.
- A natural inclination towards documentation and innovative ideas in hospitality domain.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
- Adaptable to a high level of initiative and drive.
- Passionate about exceeding expectations of internal and external customers.
- An innovative approach to work, constantly looking for creative yet simple, practical solutions to problems.
- Knowledge of Java, Swing, Web services, Database design, SQL is an advantage
