Equity Sales Role - IPO Distribution & Placement - Mid-Market Investment Bank

Our Client, a leading mid-market investment bank in India, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Equity Sales professional to join their growing team. Following their recent acquisition of a prominent broking house, they are building a powerhouse team to distribute upcoming IPOs from their robust ECM pipeline.

In this pivotal role, you will:

- Leverage your established relationships with leading buy-side institutions (mutual funds, hedge funds, etc.) to effectively distribute and place IPOs.

- Partner with the broking team, utilizing their extensive network and market knowledge to maximize placement success.

- Deepen your understanding of upcoming IPOs and develop compelling investment theses to present to potential investors.

- Execute targeted sales strategies to build long-term relationships with key decision-makers at buy-side institutions.

- Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure smooth and successful IPO execution.

- Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.

We are looking for a candidate with:

- 10+ years of experience in Equity Sales or a related field, with a proven track record of successfully placing IPOs.

- Strong and demonstrably successful relationships with buy-side institutions across various investment styles.

- In-depth knowledge of the Indian capital markets and regulatory environment.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to diverse audiences.

- A strong work ethic, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for exceeding expectations.
