- Conducting in-depth research by interacting with industry experts, company management, and government officials to understand the Midcap/ Large Cap sector better.

- The broader purpose is to generate money-making research ideas/products for fund manager clients

- Converting the understanding of the sector into quantitative elements through financial models and valuations

- Facilitate engagement for the sales team with clients.

- Provide relevant research material/coverage for the sector to the sales/sales trading team to facilitate client interaction

- Interacting with clients such as Professional Investors, Prop Funds, and Money Managers to bring in greater mileage and hence drive business through brokerage for the organization

- Providing coverage for 15 to 20 key stocks in the sector

- 1 idea-generating report per month

- 20-30 client calls/meetings per month.

- 4-5 corporate access events per quarter

Key Responsibilities:

- Build a corporate image as a trusted equities house/partner for the companies under coverage and key individuals in client organizations

- Writing periodic research reports that help give clients a perspective on the coverage sector

- Meeting corporate and industry experts to enhance the relationship and build expertise

- Communicating effectively, both in written and oral form -forecasts and views on the sector

- Interacting with external and internal clients and facilitating their decision-making

- Come out with timely actionable ideas to generate revenues for the firm

- Facilitating interaction of corporate / industry experts with clients

- Ensuring that financial models are precise and robust to capture the various nuances and complexities of the sector dynamics

- Providing actionable ideas on stocks under coverage, given a certain change in the business environment

Qualifications and Skills:

- CA Preferred or Grad/ Post Grad. in Finance, Economics, or CFA

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.

- Excellent understanding of financial markets, investment principles, and economic indicators.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.

- Proficiency in financial analysis software and tools, such as Bloomberg, Reuters, and Excel.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Client-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
