Investment Analyst - Mumbai - Equity Research

- The Senior Investment Research Specialist will play a key role in building our investment consultancy business.

- Our main clients comprise European Asset Management Firms, whom the candidate will serve and work with very closely in helping build and manage their investment portfolios. The practice area of our company will be of particular importance to our clients with respect to its Indian and Asian research expertise.

- The candidate will provide India macro research support to an international team as well as fundamental company-specific investment research including all forms of due diligence. In addition, the candidate will be involved in research projects for the broader Asian macro environment.

- The ideal candidate has a strong interest in economics, politics, business assessment, strategic initiatives, and monitoring of market developments/trends as well as keeps himself/herself up to date on regulatory as well as climate change-related objectives, ultimately to benefit an active investment management approach.

To succeed in this position of trust, we are looking for a flexible and highly motivated entrepreneurially spirited individual with multi-disciplinary technical expertise :

- Master's Degree (or equivalent) in business, finance, or economics.

- Analytical and detail-oriented research analyst collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from a top-down as well as bottom-up perspective for equity investment strategies.

- Ability and interest to interact with clients as well as C-suite and key stakeholders at public companies.

- Experience in working with global teams in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe a plus.

- Entrepreneurial attitude, willingness to think outside the box.

- Exceptional problem-solving skills using analysis, sound logic, and judgment, evaluate alternatives and recommend options and scenarios.

- Willingness to travel across India to meet portfolio companies with some international travel to Europe required.
