Equity Research Associate - Sell side | Healthcare Sector

We are seeking a talented Equity Research Analyst to join our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of publicly traded companies in various sectors, providing actionable investment recommendations, and producing insightful research reports for our clients.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct in-depth analysis of companies within assigned sectors, including financial statement analysis, industry research, and competitive benchmarking.

- Build and maintain detailed financial models to forecast company performance and estimate fair value of stocks.

- Perform valuation analyses using various methodologies, including discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (CCA), and precedent transactions.

- Generate investment recommendations and write research reports highlighting key investment thesis, industry trends, and company-specific insights.

- Collaborate with sales and trading teams to communicate research findings and investment ideas to institutional clients.

- Participate in client meetings, conference calls, and roadshows to present research findings and engage with investors.

- Stay informed on market trends, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic factors affecting assigned sectors.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; Master's degree or CFA designation preferred.

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or related field.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and perform detailed valuation analyses.

- Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
