Job Description:

1. Conduct in-depth analysis of companies, sectors, and industries to identify investment opportunities and risks.

2. Create comprehensive equity research reports, including financial models, valuations, investment theses, and recommendations.

3. Stay up to date with market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes that may impact investment decisions.

4. Collaborate with the investment team to develop and execute investment strategies.

5. Attend company meetings, industry conferences, and other events to gather relevant information and insights.

6. Build and maintain financial models to forecast company performance and assess valuation metrics.

7. Perform thorough due diligence on companies, including analysing financial statements, industry reports, and competitive landscapes.

8. Monitor and track the performance of existing investment positions and provide regular updates and recommendations to clients.

9. Interact with clients, addressing their queries, and providing clear explanations of investment recommendations.

10. Mentor and guide junior analysts, providing training and support in equity research methodologies and best practices.

11. Please note, there could be additional responsibility over and above that of an analyst In the form of reporting our performance figures to both clients, as well as supporting documents for our wealth managers.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. We also require the candidate to take up the necessary NISM certifications, etc (if the candidate does not possess it)

2. Minimum of _ years of work experience as an Equity Research Analyst, preferably in a sell-side or buy-side firm.

3. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a deep understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.

4. Proficient in financial modelling and data analysis using tools such as Excel, Capital IQ, and other relevant software.

5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.

6. Demonstrated track record of producing high-quality equity research reports and delivering accurate investment recommendations.

7. In-depth knowledge of equity markets, industry trends, and regulatory frameworks.

8. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.

9. Strong attention to detail and ability to critically evaluate information from multiple sources.

10. Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients.
