Equity Research Analyst - Mid Cap Buyside - BFSI Sector - CA/CFA

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Buyside Mid Cap Analyst with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our asset management division. The primary focus of this role is to conduct in-depth analysis of Mid Cap companies within India and Small & Mid-Cap companies in other global markets such as America, EMEA & APAC (excluding China).

Location: India preferably Mumbai - Remote working

Requirements:

- 2 to 5 years of experience as a Midcap Analyst or similar role in a buy-side/sell side firm.

- MBA or CFA Charter holder or Chartered Accountant

- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a proven track record of financial modelling.

- Experience covering multiple sectors and geographies -definitely India and other global markets such as America, EMEA and APAC (excluding China)

- Proficiency in tools such as Capital IQ and AlphaSense.

- Passion for the stock market and a deep interest in analyzing companies and investment opportunities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain earning models for Mid Cap companies within global and Indian markets.

- Utilize tools such as Capital IQ and AlphaSense to gather relevant data and insights.

- Identify high-growth investment opportunities within given sectors and geographies.

- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis to support investment recommendations.

- Stay updated on market trends, economic indicators, and company-specific news.

- Collaborate with team members to generate investment ideas and strategies.

- Present research findings and investment recommendations to portfolio managers and investment committees.

- Assist in creating ad-hoc marketing presentations for client meetings and internal use.

- Actively participate in team discussions, contributing insights and ideas to enhance investment strategies.

- Communicate effectively with a diversified global team, fostering collaboration and sharing of insights.
