If you are passionate about research and generating investment ideas ? We are looking for a professional to join our Institutional Equities team to develop valuable and quantifiable insights and generate investment ideas for our institutional clients.

Our analysts work on client-focused research in the institutional equities division mining data that enters markets both domestically and globally each day to identify game-changing insights. You will be part of a team that is intellectually curious, creative, analytical, and passionate about performing deep dive investment research.
Roles & Responsibilities of Job
1. The analyst will be responsible for maintaining a continuous coverage on allocated industry sector and individual stocks; identify alpha opportunities and risks; to justify investment thesis to our institutional clients.
2. The analyst will be responsible to execute the following task and take ownership to achieve the above objective(s):
a. Create and maintain company operating, earnings forecasts and valuation models;
b. Conducting statistical analysis of stock and company data, fundamentals, and relevant correlations of the data to identify alpha opportunities;
c. Write research reports for initiations of coverage, analysis of data, earnings results, and industry news, to be published to our institutional investors and media. Provide Buy/Sell/Hold Recommendations;
d. Maintain constant coverage of industry-related news, trends, and developments. Disseminate your insight when appropriate to internal and external stakeholders (clients).
e. You will be expected to maintain a procedure protocol for escalating emerging news across the coverage and respond to corporate actions, special situations, event, and model validation.
f. Build relationships with investor relations teams of your portfolio companies. This may involve some travel.
3. The analyst will also interact with institutional investors, communicating investment research and responding to requests for models and ad-hoc analysis.
4. The analyst will ensure to maintain a public image for the firm at conferences/events and maintain active participation in investor conference calls. Communicate the company's research, building its brand and referring potential new clients.us
5. Our Focus Industry Sectors: BFSI - Autos - Industrials
Skills Required for the Successful Accomplishment of the Job
1. CA or CFA or MBA (MUST)
2. Prior experience in financial services preferred (2-4 years) within a "front office" role {such as Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Sales & Trading or Equity Research}.
3. Advanced Excel proficiency. 2-4 years of practical experience of using Excel for building and maintaining financial models. (MUST)
4. Platform experience within Bloomberg or CAPITAL IQ.
5. Experience writing in a professional capacity, e.g., crafting equity research notes / correspondence; presentation and/or development of industry reports; strong power point skills (MUST)
6. Proficiency for presenting and debating a point under pressure; Strong power point skills are a must.
7. Database & Programming Skills - Python is a plus but not mandatory.
