Equity Research Analyst - BFS

We are a Bangalore based start up long short hedge fund. Our principals have more than two decades of experience in buy side senior fund management roles, including with large global hedge funds. We follow the value investing philosophy and pride ourselves in our analytical rigor and intellectual honesty. We principally invest in publicly traded Indian securities and in unlisted distressed securities.

We have a position open in Bangalore for the role of equity research analyst. 

- She/He should have 2-5 of years of experience in reading annual reports, financial modelling and tracking companies. 

- The ideal person should be a CA/MBA/CFA and should have worked in a recognized firm in equity research, credit rating, KPO or investment banking.

- He/she should be adept in using excel and understanding financial statements.

- The equity research analyst will be responsible for supporting the Portfolio Manager in identifying stocks, develop a view on the business model, build financial models and track companies post investments.

- He/she will also be responsible for investment documentation.
