Equity Research Analyst

Responsibilities:

Industry & Company Research:

- Lead and oversee research initiatives focused on the [Industry Focus] sector.

- Conduct in-depth analysis of industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics impacting companies in the sector.

- Build and maintain comprehensive financial models for companies within your coverage universe, incorporating historical and forecasted financial data, relevant assumptions, and valuation methodologies (e., DCF).

Investment Insights & Recommendations:

- Formulate well-supported investment recommendations based on rigorous financial analysis and insightful industry understanding.

- Translate research findings into clear and concise reports for internal and external stakeholders, including institutional clients.

Client Relationship Management:

- Foster and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients (asset managers, pension funds, private equity firms).

- Proactively engage with clients, address their investment queries, and provide valuable market intelligence.

Teamwork & Mentorship:

- Collaborate effectively with other research analysts and investment professionals.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts, fostering their development within the research team.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- Minimum 5+ years of experience as an equity research analyst or a related role.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to research.

- Proven ability to build and maintain complex financial models utilizing relevant valuation methodologies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to diverse audiences.

- Experience in conducting in-depth industry analysis and identifying key trends and opportunities.

- Strong understanding of investment research principles and best practices.
