Equity Capital Markets Banker - Investment Bank

The ECM Banker will be responsible for managing and executing equity capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings (IPOs), Qualifies Institutional Placements (QIPs), and other equity-related financing solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Indian capital markets, excellent client relationship skills, and a proven track record of successful ECM transactions.

Responsibility:

1. Understand clients' capital needs and provide strategic advice on equity financing solutions.

2. Assess the general equity market environment in order to make a deal work for both parties, including trading flow

3. Lead the execution of ECM transactions, including IPOs, QIPs, and private placements.

4. Coordinate with internal teams (research, syndicate, trading, and compliance) to ensure smooth execution of transactions.

5. Monitor market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice to clients.

6. Work closely with legal and compliance teams to manage risk and address regulatory concerns.

7. Collaborate with senior bankers and other team members to drive the ECM business forward.

Requirements:

1. Qualification - CA/CFA/MBA (Finance)

2. 5+ years of experience in ECM or related investment banking roles, with a proven track record in executing equity transactions.

3. Deep understanding of the Indian capital markets and regulatory environment.

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.

4. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
