About the Role:
The General Manager - Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and managing high-value client relationships. This role requires a sharp focus on business development, strategic expansion, and meeting revenue targets. The ideal candidate will be accountable for the P&L, possess exceptional negotiation skills, and have a strong technical understanding of the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Business Development
- Define and execute a revenue-focused sales strategy to meet financial targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, tapping into emerging markets and expanding service offerings.
- Take full ownership of the sales pipeline, from lead generation to contract closure.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, consultants, developers, and industry stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value accounts, ensuring consistent engagement and satisfaction.
- Leverage relationships to unlock repeat business, cross-selling, and up-selling opportunities.
Revenue Ownership & Financial Accountability
- Take full responsibility for the division's P&L, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.
- Use data backed decision-making to track performance, forecast sales, and optimize financial outcomes.
- Drive structured pricing strategies, negotiate effectively, and ensure commercially viable deals.
Market Expansion & Strategic Growth
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and evolving client needs.
- Provide strategic insights to senior leadership to refine the company's business and market positioning.
- Identify and develop partnerships to strengthen market penetration and competitive advantage.
Skills we're looking for:
- Proven track record in high-value B2B project sales, business development, and client relationship management within the EPC, commercial kitchen, or similar industries.
- Strong negotiation and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to close complex deals.
- Financial acumen with experience in P&L management, budgeting, and revenue forecasting.
- Ability to think analytically
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- High ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive business growth.
