BDM, Marketing Strategy & Execution, Collaborations & Sales
1) Market and Competitor Analysis:
(i) Conduct market study (buyer trends, spending, etc.)
(ii) Conduct competitor analysis (new product launch, flavours, prices, quality etc.)
(iii) Study sales numbers of relevant brands
(iv) Study particular USPs of competitors
(v) Provide all relevant input to the Management/Production team
(vi) Study marketing strategy/campaigns deviced by other brands
(vii) Study use of social media and digital marketing by other brands
Marketing Strategy:
(i) Develop marketing strategy - Annual corporate level
(ii) Develop marketing budget
(iii) Define use of media for marketing activities
Provide Product Inputs:
(i) Provide product related input for new product development based on sales requirement
(ii) Conduct sampling and trials of new products
(iii) Compile and analyse feedback, and submit input to production team
Event/Exhibition Management:
(i) Plan for specific event/ exhibition (Material supply)
(ii) Interact with potential buyers at the event
(iii) Compile event data and conduct follow-ups
(iv) Annual corporate plan for event/ exhibitions, based on budgets allocated
(v) Analyse return on investment for event/ exhibition
Marketing Agencies/Vendor Management (PR, Marketing, Website, Social media):
(i) Identify, analyse and appoint agencies
(ii) Manage agency communication and data
(iii) Manage vendor payments
(iv) Evaluate vendor performance
Manage Public Relations:
(i) Plan PR initiative to be undertaken
(ii) Execute PR initiative (manage interactions with PR agency, if required) (iii) A, R - Analyse return on investment for PR initiative
7) Manage Advertising:
(i) Determine advertising media (print, online, outdoor etc.) - Media Plan
(ii) Finalize media parameters (spend, space, time, location etc.)
(iii) Develop advertising calendar and release plan
(iv) Negotiate and purchase media for ad execution
(v) Analyse return on investment advertisement
8) Creative Development:
(i) Collate and provide necessary information
(ii) Provide inputs on ad design concept
(iii) Proof read
(iv) Approve the final ad
(v) Follow-up with the vendors/agencies
9) Manage website/social media:
(i) Routine Maintenance checks
(ii) Content Updation
(iii) Provide inputs on Design Modifications
(iv) Regular digital marketing
(v) Social Media Marketing (Facebook, instagram, LinkedIn etc.)
10) Marketing Operations:
(i) Manage internal communication
(ii) Manage external communication (emailer activity to entire database)
(iii) Compile customer satisfaction surveys (website & other online portals)
(iv) Prepare necessary marketing reports
11) Manage online store:
(i) Fill agreement registration form with company details
(ii) Submit all required documents
(iii) Follow up with the service provider for listing products
(iv) Regular check and updates on all online listings
(v) Regular check on online ratings & feedback data
(vi) Take corrective and preventive actions
12) Manage promotions:
(i) Identifying promoters and assisting with their interviews
(ii) Conducting an induction session for promoters
(iii) Training and regular checks on all promoters
(iv) Monthly performance evaluations of all promoters
(v) Maintain data of all promoters (individual sales)
(vi) Keeping a check on all the display/visiblity of products
(vii) Discussing potential promotion options with stores
(viii) Analyse return on investment for promotional activities in stores
13) Manage stores:
(i) Identifying suitable stores
(ii) Tie-ups with new stores
(iii) Assisting with contract finalization when required
(iv) Receiving PO from stores
(v) Tracking product supply to the stores based on the respective orders
(vi) Monitoring inventory on shelf
(vii) RTV 15 days before product expires
(viii) Follow-up for payments
14) Sales Strategy:
(i) Develop product based sales strategy (customer segments, product, pricing, forecasts, inventory etc.)
(ii) Enhancing sales in current stores
(iii) Achievement of Sales targets
(iv) Develop sales team strategy (team size and structure, targets, incentives etc.)
(v) Identify areas of concern and suggest remedial measures for the same
(vi) Create a database for future vendor connections
15) Distributor Management:
(i) Identifying distributors in different cities
(ii) Manage distributor communication and data
(iii) Manage distributor payments
(iv) Evaluate distributor performance
16) Customer Relationship Management:
(i) Handle telephonic enquiries if any
(ii) Reply to all email enquires on hello@epiphanysnacks.com within a day
(iii) Manage customer complaints
(iv) Analyse customer enquiry data
(v) Take preventive and corrective actions
17) Sales Operations:
(i) Manage stores/vendors/distributors monthly sales data in an excel sheet
(ii) Coordination with the factory for timely product dispatch
(iii) Maintaining outstanding payment list
(iv) Prepare necessary sales reports (Daily/weekly/monthly)
(v) Manage customer communication regarding cancellations
(vi) Manage refunds and other financial transactions (if necessary) (vii) A, R- Conduct monthly surprise audits in stores
(viii) Reconcile Accounts and Sales Recovery Data
18) ISO related (MARKETING & SALES) if required:
(i) Prepare and maintain ISO documentation
(ii) Prepare for and attend Internal and External audit
19) Any other work assigned by Management.
