Environmental Impact Assessment
Job profile involves end to end expertise in EIA which is . starting from business development in EIA, engagement with new clients, supporting existing clients towards technical assessment and execution of activities.
Business Development :
- To market the EIA services and establish engagement with new clients PAN India
- To work out appropriate model of association with client
- To assess funds required, work out appropriate revenue schemes and present payback/returns towards the EIA assessment project to management. To budget the project cost and timeline for estimation submission to client.
Operations :
- To establish work plans for the conduct and completion of environmental assessments
- To Conduct field work, interpret/analyze data from fieldwork and surveys to assess pollution levels and suitability for use
- To Prepare reports for clients (companies, environmental agencies and government bodies as per requirement
- To deal with legislation issues concerning the environment, for the clients. To appear in public hearings on behalf of clients
- To ensure that project completion happens in time and within the budget
- To contribute with technical knowledge on EIA subject matter
- To negotiate with vendors / agencies and find better sources for material/equipment/services used in EIA projects
- To do liaising for project related requirements
- To ensure client satisfaction
Training and Development :
- To train the team to adopt better systems and documentation means towards envisaging and executing the projects
- To work out appropriate systems and methods such that there is increase in the efficiencies and productivity in operations resulting in increasing profitability under each project
Qualifications :
- Bachelor/Masters in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science/Earth Science. MBA may have added advantage
- Must have experience working as auditor/ consultant of Quality Council of India (QCI) and as QCI-EIA professional for minimum 3-5 years
- Preferred Age group is between 35-45 years
Skills :
- Knowledge of latest environmental regulations and laws
- Negotiation
- Written and Verbal Communication
- Ability to make presentation at senior level executives
- Computer operation (Word, PPT, Xls, Internet)
- Project Management related tools (MS project or equivalent)
- Analytical skills (e.g. Various Comparative analysis with respect to cost, competitor, technology etc.)
- Methodical/Systematic approach
Languages : Hindi, English, knowledge of Gujarati will have added advantage
