Professional profile:

The role of this position is to ensure smooth operations of the Environmental Consultancy business. The following would be the tasks and targets of the OM:

a) He should possess excellent communication skills as well. He should also motivate the team in achieving the group targets. It is essential that the candidate is a team player. He shall directly report the Management comprising of the MD, the group GM and the Group Corporate Manager. He shall liaise with the heads of Finance on the procurement of services for the delivery of projects and shall ensure that all projects are delivered within the budget. This is yet another KRA for the role.

b) The role requires the candidate to report on the operations to the management on a periodic basis. There are ready formats available and the candidate can improvise on the reporting content as long as he reports on the operations on a consistent basis, which is a KRA for the role.

c) The OM shall be the focal point for the operations of the business. He shall keep track of the monthly Billings Targets, Resources planning for the delivery of the projects, Maintenance of Time sheets by the Consultants, Ensuring that deliverables are on time and as per schedule signed off with the clients. The candidate should have demonstrable past experience of having delivered on a similar role in an engineering consultancy organization. Though the candidate need not have a high technical background, it would be desirable, so as to get the respect from the team.

Experience:

- The candidate should have at least 8 to 10 years of experience in working with a consulting firm, of which at least three to four years he should have been responsible for the operations of a firm with min.30 to 50 consultants.
