Entrepreneur in Residence - Design Firm - IIM/ISB/HBS/Wharton

This will change the way clients are approached, the way they interact and also how end results are delivered leading to operational efficiencies and client delight.

As an Entrepreneur-in-Residence, you will be spearheading this exciting journey. You will be required to proactively anticipate the needs of leaders and the organization. You are responsible to suggest and execute unique strategies which lead to phenomenal business growth. You will be responsible to bring a systematic approach to fuel business development by building relevant planning models, in-depth revenue tracking frameworks and solving select business problems. You will work closely with our core management to ensure that we consistently exceed or meet company specific goals.

You will also help the Founders actively shape the business with your industry expertise, passion for identifying, structuring and help executing new opportunities. In addition to being exceedingly organized and collaborative, you possess the strong judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions at all management levels.

Key responsibilities:

The key responsibilities for the role will include (but not limited to) the following:

1. Define strategic direction, assist in bringing operational excellence and help to achieve growth milestones by:

a. Devising effective strategies and ensuring their smooth implementation.

b. In-depth tracking of business (MIS)

c. Slicing & dicing of data to understand its implication on the business

2. While working for a new business idea, you will help in ideation/ inception, blueprints creation, drawing out business plans, product roadmaps and consumer strategies.

3. Collaborate with cross-functional/ business teams to run select strategic projects.

4. Support identification and execution of large global deals (M&A).

5. Scout market opportunities for organic/inorganic expansion and build business cases to pursue the same.

6. Conduct competitor analysis and publish concept notes within the company.

7. Maintain investor relationships and support fundraising for different business lines, as and when required.

Required Skills:

1. Must be creative and be capable of devising effective strategies and drive to ensure smooth implementation of suggested strategies.

2. Must have exceptional ability to work with data and be adept at relevant research work.

3. Must be digitally savvy and a have a penchant towards Internet, e-commerce and technology products.

4. Outstanding teamwork, organizational and interpersonal skills, with tremendous attention to detail.

5. Must be extremely comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth dynamic work environment.

6. Must be exceptionally comfortable with ambiguity and decision-making when faced with critical situations.

7. Must be an entrepreneur at heart, ability to take risks and excellence communication skills

Qualifications and work experience:

1. MBA or equivalent degree from a premier B school (IIM A/B/C), ISB, HBS, Wharton, Kellogg and Stanford.

2. Candidates must have 3-4 years of relevant experience in Founder Staff/ Strategy role.

3. The ideal candidate would have had an exposure to large set ups and start up organisations as well.

4. Proven track record of strategizing, implementing and managing high-level business in a dynamic work environment.

5. Must have ability to assess business opportunities and possess analytical skills.

6. Significant global exposure (1 year +, education or work ex) is mandatory for this role.
