JOB DESCRIPTION - SALES HEAD
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a core team member, work closely with Founders on sales targets planning and goal setting for the sales team.
- Create and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve company objectives that expands customer base and extends market reach.
- Be Responsible for the overall sales target.
- Be responsible for customer acquisitions; Represent our company effectively;
- Build partnerships, engage with and maintain enduring customer relationships.
- Build and lead a high performing sales team
- Ensure the Sales team delivers to assigned targets. drive team performance by closely working with them
- Be target-oriented & passionate about sales - Always thinking targets & being relentless about over-achieving targets.
- Ensure generation of leads, creation of a pipeline of prospective clients and identification of key decision-makers to build and nurture relationships.
- Identify and help develop the company's differentiation and ensure market leadership
- Provide market research & intelligence to the product team to ensure innovation.
- Work enthusiastically with organizational stakeholders and colleagues to drive a high performance and successful culture
- Rely on data to analyse situations and take decisions
- Identify & resolve operational issues to continually increase sales productivity
Requirements
- More than 15 years of experience in Sales and Business Development, with at least 2 to 3 years in building and leading sales teams in high-quality organizations.
- Track record of outperformance / over-achieving targets in previous workplaces.
- Prior experience in setting up & scaling sales functions.
- Prior exposure to fintech and product sales is a plus.
- Great sales acumen with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional relationship building skills and executive presence.
- Pedigreed educational background is preferred.
