Enterprise Risk Manager - FinTech/Digital Banking Sector - Management Consulting Firm

Our Client is a prominent Consulting firm and they are looking for of a domain specialist with proficiency in Enterprise risk management (ERM), particularly within the FinTech/Wallet/Technology sector. This unique role presents an opportunity to guide and influence a client's ERM strategies and processes. The position is client-facing, situated at the nexus of technology and financial regulations. Success will be determined by the candidate's ability to assist clients in navigating both the technical and compliance challenges unique to this industry.

What you will be doing

- Analysing and understanding risk profiles within FinTech/Wallet/Technology entities.

- Leading the establishment of ERM departments within these organizations.

- Harmonizing control frameworks to enhance clarity and efficiency.

- Implementing cutting-edge risk management tools and practices.

- Crafting annual strategic risk management plans, grounded in industry best practices.

- Guiding business units and risk departments on all ERM aspects.

- Regularly reporting risk findings to key stakeholders, including board committees and senior management.

- Developing and implementing comprehensive risk frameworks, policies, and procedures.

Your background

- Technical Experience: Deep understanding of risk profiles in the FinTech/Wallet/Technology domain.

- Proven experience in establishing ERM departments in similar organizations.

- Familiarity with compliance and technology risk management.

- Demonstrated expertise in risk tool implementation and risk management planning.

- Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulatory environments.

- Managerial Experience: Competence in overseeing projects independently.

- Skill in managing senior executives with both technical acumen and emotional intelligence.

- A forward-thinking mindset that emphasizes innovation, customer focus, strategic alignment, and positive social/environmental impact.

Work Experience & Education:

- Minimum of 6 years in leading consulting firms, specifically in Financial Services Advisory.

- Experience working with or setting up ERM departments in Fintech's, Banks, and other Financial Institutions.
