Role: Enterprise Community Facilitator
Anyone from backgrounds such as: knowledge management, community management/facilitation, product marketing, product evangelist, social media evangelist
Responsibilities:
- Evangelise the utility of myThoughtWorks - our social business and collaboration platform
- Be the "go-to person" for some of the questions around how best to use the platform for projects, communities etc.,
- Facilitate a global community of community managers and make sure that good practices in community management get cross-pollinated across multiple global communities.
- Keep an eye out for key learning in the community so you can surface this and make it visible and explicit for everyone.
- Work closely with client services teams in various regions and to build knowledge about bids, clients, engagements and domains.
- Consult with the business on learning, capabilities and business problems that we can solve with social software and related approaches.
- Proactively push relevant knowledge artifacts, existing bid documents and case studies etc., to bid teams.
- Promote/push interesting/useful content that people share (blogs, documents etc) by using social features on myThoughtWorks.
- Act as a project journalist and interview key people in projects on technologies being used/good practices etc.,
- Constantly monitor conversations across multiple communities and help summarise key discussions with community leads.
- Add metadata to content after the fact.
- Urge individuals to contribute knowledge based on their role.
Key Skills/Experience:
- 3-5 years in the KM/Collaboration/Community Management space - this is not a rule though
- Should be intensely passionate about social media and it's implications on knowledge work
- Should have a good "digital footprint" on the Internet - you blog, tweet etc.,
- Should have reasonable exposure to enterprise 2.0/social business platforms - Any relevant experience with platforms like SocialText, Google Apps, Jive, Atlassian Confluence etc., will come in handy
- Should be self-driven and comfortable working in an intensely opinionated work environment
