Engineering Manager - Voice AI Platform

Hiring for a Product (Voice AI platform) Based Organization in Mumbai (Prabhadevi).

Job Summary

An Engineering Manager will be required to develop effective processes and set the right engineering culture for the team.

Responsibilities:

- Provide technical leadership to major projects, guide an engineering team of 10 to15 top notch engineers

- Chalk out and implement the vision, technology roadmap and business goals

- Ensure that the team optimizes codes, while contributing to business goals and product strategies

- Create clear career paths for team members and ensure their growth by mentoring them

- Evaluate performances regularly and share and seek feedback

- Operate with scale and speed, amidst flux in the fast-paced environment

- Set up best practices for development and overlook its adoption

- Architect and design technically robust, flexible and scalable solutions

- Work with the Designer and Product Manager to estimate and plan projects in an agile environment

Requirement:

- A software architect and well versed in design patterns. (eg. you've worked with MVVM and know the benefits. You've written your own Repositories and Factories.)

- Analytical and mathematical mind, capable of evaluating and solving various complex problems

- Leadership skills necessary to manage and develop a team

- Organisational competencies and project management skills to keep projects, processes, and the entire engineering team on track

- Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment

- Ability to work individually or as part of a team

Technology you can expect to see on the job:

- Familiarity with web technologies like HTTP, REST APIs, Authentication

Profile Pre-Requisites

- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering

- This role is best suited for someone with 5+ years of work experience as a Technical Manager in a Product Development environment.

Note: Candidates must be in an Engineering Manager role in a Product Development company.
