Engineering Manager - Tech Platform

Looking to hire Engineering Manager Platform for a leading technology company.

Ideal Candidate profile :

- 8+ years experience (with recent years of experience being engineering manager or staff engineer)

- Strong competencies in software design & architecture along with a deeper understanding of them scalability of distributed systems

- Experienced in agile methodologies

- Ability to own things with entrepreneurial mindset

- Good at stakeholder management

- Good working knowledge on backend technologies like Java, spring boot, MYSQL, NoSQL, Kafka, Redis

About the role :

Technology Leadership :

- Lead by example by being hands on tech stack & tools used by the team

- First principles approach to solve problems

- Ensure best coding practices are adopted & followed

Organizational Leadership :

- Customer centric thinking

- Lead the team in right direction

- Align the team to work on shared vision

Delivery :

- Work closely with Product Managers, Tech Leads & Tech ops to ensure

- Responsible for timeliness and quality of deliverables

- Effective communication and keeps internal & external stakeholders updated on the progress of projects

People Management :

- Hiring, mentoring & coaching

- Performance management of the team

- Help build career path for team members

- Regular 1:1s, conflict resolution

- Motivate & reward the team for good job done
