Engineering Manager/Sr. Engineering Manager

Location: Mumbai or Bangalore (Current Remote)

Years of Experience: 8 - 12 years

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead a small group of highly talented engineers to build platform components to power various micro services.

- Responsible for end-to-end architecture of Platform.

- Leads High- & Low-level design of critical components.

- Mentor other Senior & Lead engineers

Ideal candidate has:

- More than 7 years of Hands on experience building end to end critical applications

- Good experience of Product/Business and handling teams

- Experience with any of the following languages like Java / Nodejs / Python

- Expertise in micro service / Data modelling / AWS / Messaging

- Expertise in building scalable & reliable systems

- Good Experience in working with technologies like AWS, Redis,

- Experience in messaging systems like SQS/RabbitMq

- Good knowledge of caching, Databases, distributed systems.

- Strong problem solving and analytical skills

Good to Have

- Minimum 5 Years of experience in startups

- Good startups which has seen scale (Million+ users) - Preferable

- Flipkart/Swiggy/Dunzo/Zomato/Ola (3+years of experience)

Years of Exp - 8 -12 yrs

Qualification:

- Engineering graduates from Tier I or II institutes.

- B.E/ B.Tech/ MCA/ ME/ M.Tech
