Engineering Manager - Product Development Plans - Bank

Responsibilities :

- Contribute as part of the Tech team to determine strategic goals of the organization

- Measure and ensure engineering, product delivery goals are met with,at an acceptable velocity and without trading off quality and performance

- Forge and Instill goals and set standards for engineering performance

- Harness capabilities of individuals and teams to ensure appropriate opportunities and growth for them

- Constantly motivate, mentor and guide the engineering team members

- Devise processes and mechanisms to ensure expected uptime of production applications

- Work closely with the product development team to ensure alignment and achievement of product and engineering goals

- Augment skills and capability of the engineering team by recruiting and training the members

- Contribute to crafting and own the execution of strategic product development plans

- Ensure smooth communication channels within the team and with all stakeholders involved in the product development and delivery process

Team Management :

1. Mentoring, developing, motivating and retaining team members

2. Managing multiple technology delivery teams

3. Responsible for overall employee engagement for a Happy Team
