Engineering Manager - Mobile

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and architect the user, merchant and runner apps.

- Build extensible and reusable modules for the chat, payments, analytics etc.

- Coordinate with the design team to develop the app UI, including transitions and animations.

Requirements

- Minimum 5+ years of experience in iOS/Android development

- Ability to handle the entire native android / iOS software development lifecycle, end to end

- Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms and programming languages

- Experience working with remote data via REST, JSON and Web Services

- Experience with MySQL and other databases / Core Data, including different architecture approaches and their benefits

- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs

- A disciplined approach to development, documentation and code structure

- A passion for building and maintaining great open source projects

- Experience and interest in guiding and leading team members of other teams
