Below the JD for Engineering Manager of Mobile App.

Own, and build/maintain Android and iOS apps used by millions of users

Drive technical discussions, be a subject matter expert, and have strategic influence

Be a highly technical, hands-on manager for a team of 10-app engineers

Communicate cross-functionally and drive engineering efforts

Collaborate with Product managers, engineers and QA to plan and own and deliver projects on time.

Skills/Experience

Overall 12+ years if experience in software development with at least 4 years as Manager.

Strong history managing team of Sr. engineers, engineers, and coaching and mentoring while maintaining a hands-on role with code development.

Experience working with Product Managers, and in an agile environment.

Prior experience with scalable Architecture,

Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and ability to handle multiple tasks

Experience and ability to bring in software engineering life cycle best practices.

Experience with Android, Java, Objective-C, or C/C++, and NoSql, memcache, redis etc. programming and debugging skills

Demonstrated ability to recruit, and experience in performance management

Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
