- Lead and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Develop and execute the technical roadmap, aligning it with the overall product vision and business goals.
- Break down complex technical problems into manageable tasks and assign them effectively to team members based on their skills and experience.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching and mentorship to team members, and help them develop their technical and leadership skills.
- Recruit, interview, and hire top-tier engineering talent.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (product, design, Marketing) to ensure seamless product development and delivery.
- Hands on experience analysing implementation design to identify potential bottlenecks, potential issues and inefficiencies
- Define and implement coding standards maintaining code quality
- Define and implement design standards for Non-functional requirements
- Effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non- technical stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in Java, Microservices, AWS, and Angular.
- Champion agile development methodologies and best practices.
- Track project progress, measure team performance, and identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the overall engineering culture by promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a positive work environment.
