Engineering Manager - FinTech

Job Description - Looking for a seasoned engineering manager, who will be responsible for managing a team of highly qualified engineers and building innovative products in the Fintech, B2B, B2C domain.

- Build and nurture high performing teams of skilled software engineers. Find and hire top talent for your team

- Shape team goals by developing a deep understanding of our business processes and success criteria

- Work closely with the team to architect and develop the best technical design and approach to solve complex problems

- Effectively partner with engineering, product and business stakeholders across the organisation to co-define and deliver on own and team goals

- Take the accountability of the overall health of the products you build, and predictability of the deliverable of your team

- Develop and execute a long-term product road-map and architecture while balancing short term commitments

Profile :

- B.Tech/B.E/BCA/M.Tech/MS/MCA from a college of repute

- 8+ years of Back-end development experience in the Fintech/B2B/B2C space

- Experience managing large teams of developers

- Tech Stack : Java, Spring boot, Micro services, My SQL, No SQL, Kafka

- Technical aptitude to quickly grasp complex technical issues and communicate directly with technical and non-technical teams

- Prior experience in established start-ups/product companies would be preferred

- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operation

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
