Engineering Manager - Ad Infrastructure Development

is looking for an Engineering Manager, Ads, to lead Ad infrastructure development within the company. You will be responsible for owning the Ad stack which is responsible for self-serve and capable of serving, mediation, targeting etc. of Ads across all platforms. The Ad Platform is also responsible for direct integration with other large clients and Ad networks. The platform includes AI components to predict, target and deliver with utmost efficiency to achieve a high level of scale and optimization. You will work with the product and partnership teams to scale the system to 100s of millions of users.

This role requires exposure to, and collaboration across, all consumer products in all teams, with a primary focus on Ad Platform. It requires a clear vision, with unique approaches to unique problems, strong analytical understanding, leadership, creativity, attention to detail, project management, and effective, persuasive communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Lead and grow a world-class Ad Engineering team through mentorship and guidance and career development

- Lead partnerships with Product Engineering, define interfaces with 3rd party direct integrators, and Data Engineering teams to find the optimal way to scale the Ad Platform

- Collaborate with other Engineering and Product teams to ensure high degree of alignment, ruthless prioritization, timely releases of features in support of critical company initiatives

- Constantly strive to improve the efficiency of our existing systems while pursuing transformative technologies that impacts the Platform's performance

- Work closely with Recruiting to expand the team, including sourcing candidates, interviewing candidates, participating in conferences/events and on-boarding new employees

- Develop and drive long-term strategies around utilizing ecosystem, including the system as/when relevant
