- An ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in leading a team of software engineers delivering solutions in at least some of the following areas: machine learning and algorithm development, building and scaling large data processing platforms using distributed computing technologies such as Map-Reduce, and online high throughput large scale web-services using open source technologies.

- Mandatory requirement:Strong Computer Science fundamentals, Object-Oriented design principles, Data Structures and Algorithms.

Requisites:

1) 3+yrs of product management experience.

2) 6+yrs of product development experience.

3) Technically hands on, able to think strategically and execute tactically

4) Proven analytical and quantitative skills ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and prioritize effectively

5) Proven ability to architect large-scale systems

6) High attention to detail

7) Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and timelines simultaneously

8) Superior verbal and written communications skills

9) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired

10) Strong Computer Science fundamentals, Object-Oriented design principles, Data Structures and Algorithms.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Primary business owner for delivering traffic quality solutions, defining and executing technology and product strategy, and driving innovation

2) Coordinate directly with leaders of Amazon’s advertising programs to plan and manage the traffic quality initiative

3) Work closely with the engineers to architect and develop scalable systems and ensure operational excellence

4) Work closely with research scientists to develop machine learning/statistical algorithms for traffic scoring and fraud/spam detection

5) Ensuring sanity of architecture, operational excellence and quality, delivering results on time and collaborating with teams across multiple development centers

6) Instill best practices for software development and operations

7) Deliver high-quality work on tight schedules

8) Recruiting, mentoring and managing a highly skilled engineers

9) Balance technical leadership with good business judgment.

The requirement is for IT product development only, hence a strong background with Software product development experience is mandatory.
