Engineering Head - FinTech

Role: Head of Engineering

Client: Fintech

Location: Mumbai (Hybrid)

Experience: 12-18 years

Product: Any Lending product (Personal loans, Business loans, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technology Strategy and Leadership:

- Develop and execute the technology strategy in alignment with the company's goals.

- Provide visionary leadership to the technology team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Team Management:

- Build and lead a high-performing technology and product team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.

- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving.

2. Technology Stack and Infrastructure:

- Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the technology stack and infrastructure.

- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of our platform.

3. Types of applications built: Mobile Apps, Websites, API Applications

- Hands on building, solutioning and reviewing across the tech stack:

Backend: Golang, Postgres SQL

Architecture: Microservices / Serverless with AWS

Frontend: React, React Native, Redux

4. Regulatory Compliance:

- Stay informed about regulatory changes and compliance requirements in the financial services industry in India.

- Ensure that the platform complies with all relevant laws and regulations.
