Engagement Manager - Strategy - Consulting Firm - IIT/IIM/XLRI/FMS/MDI/ISB

Our client, a leading consulting firm, is currently engaged in a digital banking development project for a prominent bank in India. The project aims to develop and enhance digital banking solutions tailored to corporate and MSME customers. The objective is to create robust, user-centric portals that streamline banking processes and enhance customer experiences. This includes converting business requirements into technical specifications and managing the end-to-end development with external vendors.

To support on this initiative, they are currently seeking an Engagement Manager with prior experience managing large-scale digital banking projects.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead the project on design and implementation of a large digital banking platform for the bank

- Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders on project status, potential risks, etc

- Lead the day-to-day execution of a client project while guiding and developing individual team members

- Work directly with clients, usually on-site, and take ownership of the overall project and its end products

- Make an important contribution to the analysis, design and develop tailor-made solutions, implement business performance approaches, and work closely with clients to ensure positive impact and sustainable results

- Gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, and develop recommendations for presentation to client management

- Align with relevant stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented

- Be hands-on in developing solutions to complex problems, storylining the same, and helping the team build solutions to those

Minimum Qualifications:

- 8+ years of experience in consulting of which 5+ years in management consulting and deep exposure to digital and technology in Banking

- Master's degree/MBA (or equivalent) from top-tier management schools

- Bachelor's degree or B.Tech from top-tier engineering schools

This is a contractual opportunity and will be on an initial 12-month contract with a high possibility of an extension. The selected consultant will be required to be based in Mumbai for the entire duration of this contract.
