Job Description for SAP Joint Venture Accounting (JVA)

- Strong functional experience in manufacturing industry, (Particularly in Joint Venture) with post qualification experience in a reputed organization in the areas of finance, taxation, accounts payable, accounts receivables, project costing, product costing, profitability analysis, Account finalization, budgetary control, fund management, statutory requirements.

- SAP FICO (Financial Accounting (SAP FI), Controlling (SAP CO), Asset Management (SAP AM), Materials Management (SAP MM), Plant Maintenance (SAP PM), and Project System (SAP PS) experience along experience of Joint Venture Accounting (JVA).

- He will be responsible for design, build, test and implementation of enhancements in the SAP JVA module.

Minimum 2 Full cycle implementations experience and must have worked on the following JVA areas.

- Cash Call

- JV Billing

- Cutback

- Overhead Cost Calculation

- WBS and Project System

- Partner Netting

- Equity Adjustment

- Asset and Material Transfers

- Controlling

- Net Profit and Carried Interest Profit Partners

- Non-Operated Functions

- Inter-Company Transactions

- Balanced Books by Venture

- Bank Account Switching

- Audit Reports and JADE

- Multi-Currency Processing

Over and above should have experience in developing the interfaces and communication, to set the ledgers, to customize the report details, to report by block and in different levels, to process royalties, taxes, and equities etc.

Candidate should have worked on RFPs, estimation, Pre-sales activities. Through knowledge of Project Management skills.

Over All SAP Experience: 10 – 14 years

- Good team player with presentation skills

- Flair for learning new technologies

- Good academic record

Others

- Resource should have managed large projects/ multiple projects

- Should have good overview of sales process

- Should have worked on effort estimates/ proposal for Upgrade, Roll outs and implementation

- Should also have project management background with PMP qualification

- Good overview of project methodologies (viz ASAP)

- Excellent communication, not averse to travel either for Short term or long term.
