Client is a global management consulting firm operating in 16 countries, having assisted over 1000 clients since 1985. The role is based out of their Mumbai office with extensive international travel.
Job Description
The role includes managing consulting projects as part of Fin Tech practice of the client. While the primary focus is to work on IT Strategy/ Application Selection/Program Management engagements, CIO Advisory, Program Assurance/ Health checks, there will also be significant opportunities to work on engagements across strategy formulation, process and business transformation areas. Engagements involve building business ownership and coordinating with client team (business and technical) and with vendor personnel.
Client's fintech practice has rich experience in Evaluation, Selection and Project Management across leading vendors of Core Banking, Treasury, Trade Finance, Enterprise GL, Cash Management, Credit Card, Risk Management, Data Warehousing systems and other applications.
Given the client has offices in global cities, a large number of projects presently executed are in Asia/ Middle East region.
Primary responsibility includes consulting engagement delivery, client relationship, team management and assistance in identifying cross-sell opportunities within existing relationship.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate must have 5 to 10 of relevant consulting experience within the financial services and/or fintech space. A good academic track record and a Master's degree from a premier B School. Rich experience in Project Lead and PM roles is a must. Good understanding of the BFSI segment is required. Core banking experience and PMP/Prince certification will be an added advantage. The candidate will be evaluated on his technical and client engagement skills.
