Job Description

Function : Technical Management - Project Management, IT Operations and Support - Functional / Technical Consulting, Sales and Business - Sales / Business Development IT Consulting, Contract Management, Business Development, Project Management, Vendor Management

Responsibilities :

- Lead the ongoing engagements with enterprise clients, understand client pain points, and deliver final output promptly.

- This typically entails assisting in developing a business case, identifying areas of improvement in the client's environment and services portfolio, developing best-in-class targets or benchmarks for various parameters, crafting specific sections of RFPs that are rolled out to potential service providers, assessing the competitiveness of service provider proposals, setting negotiation targets, assisting in negotiations with service providers, etc.

- Understand the providers' solution and delivery capabilities, automation frameworks, cost structures, pricing buildups, etc. , and compare them with custom-developed benchmarks.

- Maintain on an ongoing basis the IT benchmarking databases of HEX's IP (metrics related to pricing, performance, delivery, T& Cs, etc. ) with oversight/support from the practice leaders.

- Get involved in recommending/instituting mechanisms (people, process, technology) for perpetual database updates.

- Leverage the benchmarking database and experience to actively deliver on client projects along with the practice leaders; grow quickly to provide independent delivery and client management leverage to the leaders, as needed.

- Lead business development and overall responsibilities of all activities including RFP response development, drafting SoW, sourcing and shoring models, and developing business cases for clients.

- Collaborate with the practice leaders and Marketing on ideas to synthesize/package practice capabilities, IP, and engagement takeaways into marketable content.

- Analysis, financial modeling, synthesizing observations/recommendations, benchmarking, and reporting on active client engagements.

- Support the leaders in practice P& L responsibilities such as business development, marketing, straddling multiple benchmarking engagements, revenue, and profitability discussions with leadership, etc.

- Develop a strong reputation within and outside the firm based on the quality of work and insights delivered to clients, as well as by helping publish top-quality content (whitepapers/viewpoints/blogs, etc. )

- Assist other teams with pricing/contracting-related inquiries and projects, as needed.

- In addition to the client engagement responsibilities, The Engagement Director in the Advisory practice will be involved in all aspects of practice development/management i. e. Lead the packaging of advisory content from the firm's engagements, advisor connects, and COE engagements for internal and external publishing and marketing.

- Work closely with the leaders in practice-building initiatives including, benchmarking database set-up/management, active client delivery, and sales & marketing support.

- Build and growth of existing/new products.

- Collaborate with the practice leaders and Marketing on ideas to synthesize/package practice capabilities, IP, and engagement takeaways into marketable content.

- Longer-term objectives include facilitating the growth and evolution of the practice as mandated by the business.

- Indicative areas could be helping in the hiring and management of a team of Consultants and Senior Consultants with specific areas of focus; establishing a presence in the domestic market etc.

- Mentor Consultants and Senior Consultants in the team and oversee their efforts.

Requirements:

- 10+ years of relevant experience with expertise in Solutioning and pricing knowhow in outsourcing transformation mandates (especially on the IT Infrastructure side, with experience in Cloud, SaaS models, Automation, and/or BPO F& A) based on solution architecture roles in service providers OR sourcing advisory experience within management consulting firms.

- Prior experience in, and ability to comprehend, trends in outsourcing, shared services, and digital transformation.

- Strong ownership and leadership traits.

- Excellent written and oral presentation skills.

- Client presence and relationship orientation.

- Collaborative work style; strong interpersonal and team skills.

- Bachelor's in engineering / Tech; MBA preferred but the right experience takes precedence.
