Job Description: Pre-Sales Manager (Mumbai)
- As a 'Product Consultant - Presales' at Engagely, you will assist the sales/business development team by creating robust business and technical Conversational AI solutions for new prospects and customers. You will face complex problem solving challenges to link business benefits that a high-tech product such as Engagely provides, with business KPIs and strategy/architecture of prospects, in order to help in driving compelling consultative selling. You will liaise with Product Management and Marketing to stay on top of industry trends and devise enhancements to Engagely Product Suites.
- Your job will involve you working closely with cross-functional teams of developers and architects with a variety of both regional and international audiences. The relationship you build with customers will be crucial for the overall growth of Engagely. The role will involve liaising with CXOs and leadership teams of enterprises and will evolve into an AI consultant or SME eventually.
- You should have excellent technical, communication and organizational skills. Any previous experience in BFSI or FMCG with customer support, CRM, Mobile applications, ITSM/ITIL Methodologies, and cloud-based infrastructure will be preferred. As a Product Consultant - Presales you will work hand in hand with the sales team to introduce Engagely's product suite. You will help prospective customers and partners to understand "Why Engagely is important to their business".
Responsibilities:
- Work with Sales / Business development and client teams to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections and convert prospects to customers.
- Work closely with the product management team to demonstrate and prototype integrations within customer environment.
- Prepare and deliver product messaging to highlight Engagely's value proposition through whiteboard and slide presentations, product demonstration, proof of concept management and RFP response documents.
- Work independently with prospects / customer's technical teams on technical scoping. During the process of scoping, you may be involved in complex workflow analysis and in-depth examination of the interaction between Engagely and customer's infrastructure.
- Provide technical mentorship and training for new hires and peers.
- Implement and support compliance to Engagely compliance and information security processes.
Requirement:
- MBA with Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience as a technical sales engineer or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role.
- Strategic and analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to simplify complex concepts and articulate uniquely differentiated value propositions to both technical and business audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job
- Effective leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience of working on AI SaaS products will be a plus
- Should have proven capability to engage the client at an executive level
- Able to engage in a technical and business conversation with the customer to understand their requirements
