The Energy Specialist will be responsible for influencing the decision of key stakeholders in educational institutions towards 8minutes solar energy services and achieving aquarterly bookings targetsfrom educational institutions in Delhi NCR.

- We are interested in individuals with a deep rooted background and access to key decision makers in the education sector with an aptitude for and interest in - consultative selling- in a rapidly growing, competitive, and dynamic energy market. Candidates must have a strong understanding of large-scale, complex, and technical sales - solar experience or related energy experience is not required. Understanding of and experience working with public sector markets is highly valued, but also not required.

Your Mission : Deployment of solar energy systems for educational institutions in Delhi and NCR

Responsibilities :

- Seek out, activate and develop new sales opportunities with schools and colleges

- Identify potential business using your network to generate sales and partnerships pipeline

- Working closely with 8Minutes team of project managers to prepare and develop proposals, feasibility studies, and responses to RFPs

- Presenting to high-level decisions makers and key stakeholders at the trust and management level

- Conducting site evaluations for potential customers

- Maintaining and expanding existing client relationships

- Contract negotiations

Qualifications :

- Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience in the educational sector required

- Some solar knowledge preferred

- Demonstrated - consultative- selling experience

- Proven ability to manage projects under deadline with multiple internal resources

- Experience managing or selling to multiple stakeholders on the customer side

- Ability to quickly learn the technical aspects of solar PV systems required

- Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

- Understanding and presenting financial analysis to customers (ROI, IRR, NPV, APR, etc.)

KPI : MWs deployed / Quarter

Location : New Delhi

Previous Company : AIME, UGC, AICTE, British Council, EduComp, TataEdgeetc

Salary Range: 6 - 14 LPA
