Position: We are looking for a Team Lead Accounts who will report to Manager-Finance & Accounts and be responsible for managing the Accounts Payable function and assist in monthly accounting close activities.

Specific Job Responsibilities: -

- Manage Procurement to Payment Process for domestic as well as overseas entities.

- Administering team handling accounts payable for specified Business Usual activities.

- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to post into AP as per TAT.

- Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies

- Review of advances, creditors and ledger scrutiny. Maintain monthly balance sheet schedules, bank reconciliations and payable reconciliations.

- Ensure vouchers are coded to the correct general ledger codes

- Ensuring Compliance related to TDS, GST, and other applicable taxes.

- Prepare and Process Weekly Vendor and Employee Payments (wires, ACH and Credit Card). This includes critical payments to be made to registries, intercompany payments and foreign payments (Including 15CA/15CB and liaising with Bankers)

- Managing fixed assets capitalization and monthly depreciation run. Also, liaison with auditors and IT team for periodic verification of fixed assets.

- Maintain vendor records, files, and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.

- Prepare monthly AP metrics and present it to the US Global AP team.

- Assist in Statutory, Tax and SOX audits of the company. Ensure timely data of payable function to the auditors.

- Work to drive process improvements in other accounting operation functions as assigned.

- Closely working with business teams for improving and managing the payment timelines.

- Ensure an accurate & timely monthly & quarterly closing of books & assist in month end closing.

- Periodic updation of process documents of AP and employee reimbursement process.

- Responsible for all accounting work necessary to ensure accounts payable are processed in a timely and efficient manner. USGAAP knowledge will be an added advantage.

- Work with business teams to obtain information on monthly spends and pass necessary accruals in the books.

Skills:

- 10+ years of progressive accounts payable experience.

- Has experience with multiple entity organizations

- Has a bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting

- Has hands-on experience of accounting in ERP systems.

- Has strong communication and organizational skills and can see issues through to resolution

- Can work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external entities

- Has strong computer skills with a demonstrated proficiency in Excel

- Project management skills are a plus
