Employee Relations Officer


Job Purpose :

- Drive Employee Relations Function in terms of Environment Scanning & to provide proactive business support in the assigned Zone.

- Customize and lead implementation of various Human Resource policies within the framework of Organization HR policies including Job Evaluation

- Facilitate work place harmony through continuous engagement to create a productive and cohesive climate for business.

- Ensure 100% Compliance and to meet client and authorities' expectations.

- Eco system management through industrial peace.

- Driving employee engagement initiatives

- To drive Business initiatives like Unnati, Study Circles etc.

Accountabilities :

- IR Planning and Implementation in the assigned Zone; Monitor manpower cost, right sizing, out placement of seniors, Posting / Transfer strategies. Smooth Implementation of minimum wages in line with client agreement. Local recruitment of security personnel as per business requirement. Ensuring proper BGV. Administering the welfare schemes, disciplinary proceedings including enquiries and timely decisions to team members.

- Regular watch of conduct and behavior of employees to curb indiscipline in the bud stage itself. Continuous education of employees with information about policies, job, working conditions, wages, benefits, and opportunities for Unnati.

- Workforce Management ; Intelligence collection. Organize periodical meetings with staff, Lead discussions and drive a positive IR environment. Evaluating IR scenario on regular basis. Responsible for creation and use of ideas which will improve the performance and aspiration level of individual in the company Regulatory and Industrial Compliance- Driving all compliances as required and applicable to the business and efficient Payroll Management. Attend client compliance audits to the satisfaction of client.

- Positive IR ; Driving and leading all employee engagement initiatives through regular feedback and review, continuous education. Monitoring living conditions at Hostel, hygiene, quality of food at mess, Transportation, leave and weekly off management. Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting and helping resolve work-related problems.

- Stakeholder and Community Management ; Manage and drive all external and internal stake Holders - statutory and non-statutory to develop mutually beneficial relationships and manage crisis effectively. Advise management on organizational policy matters and recommend changes required.

- Robust grievance redressal mechanism ; Periodical meetings, ensuring closure of issues, keep morale of employee high always. Continuous education.

- Driving Business Excellence and other business initiatives

Education & Qualification :

- MBA /PGDBM in HR

- Degree in Law is desirable

Experience : 10+ Years' experience in manufacturing set up with experience of handling multiple Units, multiple unions and large employee base & liaison with authorities.
