Course Launch Manager - The Course Launch Manager is responsible for ensuring cross functional alignment &amp; communication, tracking toward launch milestones and overall readiness for all course releases with a goal of having each release make as much impact on the market as intended. - The ideal candidate will be responsible for the program management of launching new courses and selecting other cross functional start-up activities, championing, challenging and sometimes signing off. In order to be successful in this position, you need to be comfortable interfacing and driving various functional teams, ranging from Product, Content, Learning, Delivery and Technical teams at various levels of the organization. - Executing assigned pre-launch tasks and being accountable for building results on launch. They will be a natural self-starter who is comfortable leading large, complex projects. They will have a true hands - on approach, strong project management skills, and be an effective communicator. Key Job Responsibilities: - Develops and implements project plans, which includes timelines, scheduling project meetings, setting agendas, preparing and presenting project progress - Manage stakeholders and get signoff - Creation of checklists and managing adherence to these checklists to ensure 0 defects for launch - Anticipate bottlenecks, explore contingencies and provide escalation management throughout new course launches. a) Resolve issues during passionate discussions between various functions. b) Hold respective functions accountable for their deliverables. c) Ensure processes are adhered to. d) Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and provide support as necessary for the flawless execution of projects. e) Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. f) Responsible for the overall project schedule that enables the teams to be successful based upon the project milestones and Go-Live. g) Must seek justification and document project requirements. h) Driving continuous improvement of the launch process i) Monitors and reports on the progress of all course launch activity within the project including significant milestones and any conditions which would affect launch schedule. - Responsible for interfacing with all necessary functions and departments within the company. Qualifications: - Strong communication, presentation and writing skills with emphasis on technology - Strong accountability and project management for tasks without close supervision - PMP or any relevant certification - 5+ years of relevant project management experience preferred - Experience leading and interacting with cross-functional teams - Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Ability to collaborate and work remotely. - Previous experience at a consumer internet or mobile company - Exceptional analytical skills - Collaborative personality and team player - Takes initiative and gets things done
