Embitel - Assistant Vice President - Business Unit Head

Job Brief :

We are currently looking for Head-BU with 15+ Years of experience who will be responsible for managing a team size of 100+ & also end to end technical delivery of projects/people growth/process requirements for the Business unit.

Experience: 17+ Years

Role: Associate VP

Location: Bangalore

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

- Bachelor's Engineering degree or equivalent experience

- Functional knowledge in embedded Industrial Automation domain

- Driving Technology projects in HW Design, Platform SW, Connectivity, AI, IoT, Development & Testing.

- Rich experience in services/solutions in the areas of Engineering Services (Smart Products / Services / IVI), Embedded Electronics and Product Design

- Proficiency on all standards & processes(CMMI/ASPICE/ISO/ISO26262) involved to execute the project.

- Experience managing complex Embedded Software projects.

- Proven project and financial management skills

- Excellent skills in resource planning, organization, delegation, negotiation, and people management

- Excellent Project Management skills & Client communication

- Experienced in Project Estimation and proposal preparation

- Experience in setting/scaling up and managing teams across different locations

- Should have good communication skills to communicate at all levels within the organization

What Role & Responsibility to Expect:

- P&L Responsibility for the BU

- Responsible for successful delivery of all the projects of the Business Unit

- Responsible for revenue generation for the BU

- Responsible for retaining clients & repeated/new business from the existing/new clients

- Responsible for providing technical expertise as & when required

- Responsible for recruitment and management of Project Leaders / Middle managers.

- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

- Reports to President of the group
