JOB TITLE: Manager / Sr. Manager

DEPARTMENT: Research & Innovation

LOCATION: Mumbai

ROLE: Managerial position in R&D

JOB ROLE:

The candidate must be technically sound and competent, have adequate knowledge of formulations, their storage/stability protocols, as well as, good understanding and hands on experience of developing Hair oil, Hair colour and hair care category which includes Shampoo, Conditioner, Serum, Hair masque etc. He/She should have participated in various stages of product development such as pre-formulation, prototyping, evaluation and scale up.

Additionally he/she should demonstrate a sound understanding of chemistry/ proof of principle. An experience in manufacturing and fragrance evaluation will be an added advantage.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Product Development

- Lab/ Pilot Stability evaluation

- Product performance evaluation / initial attributes study

- Participation in consumer research

- Pilot scale up trials

- Cost evaluations

- Safety awareness

- Well versed in cost improvement programs

- Scale up at Factory

- Work with third parties for Claim Support Evaluations

- Product Safety evaluation

- Documentation as per protocols

- Interaction with packaging, design, brand & purchase teams

- Support to manufacturing units

- Support to International Operations

- Should handle product complaints (Consumer complaints).

- Fragrance evaluations

- Documentation excellence
