Planning and Budgeting :
- Leads the full year business planning and trade budgeting activity in co-ordination with Head - TM, Finance and respective Brand Directors.
- Strategies and monitors final execution of New Product launch - rollout, final GTM strategy and trade marketing initiatives and full year business outlook for the product.
- Anchors the SNOP process for the brands managed, to assess the forecast for stock against book target to operate at Monthly Operating Plan.
Budgeting &Financial Control :
- Develops trade marketing budgets as per brand / channel /region and ensures standards to measure and monitor trade spends.
- Allocates budget for various activities; monitors adherence to the budgets and analyses trade spends and other trade expenses across all brands / channels /regions.
Trade Marketing Interventions /Design and Roll out :
- Finalizes calendar of activities on the basis of building blocks and trade marketing plans and monitors execution by proper communication down the line.
- Conceptualizes and designs brand intervention for the month/ quarter/ season basis market intelligence and allotted brand budget to ensure top line business delivery for assigned brands.
- Interfaces with brand teams/external agencies to develop innovative retail fixtures/displays as per COA and analyses the performance of these interventions on the business of the outlets executed for efficient retail visibility.
- Finalizes brief, design, quotation and timelines for the development of marketing /POS materials to ensure high quality and cost effective delivery of the same.
- Formulates and plans execution and takeoff of timely launch plan for the New Products for the year and provides support with post launch activities.
Sales Analytics :
- Captures and analyzes market intelligence to arrive at trade inputs/ offers which beats competition within the allotted budget.
- Presents Trade Scheme Utilization Metrics - review utility of the schemes/ interventions rolled out against desired outcome and simplifies trade inputs to enhance on field communication to trade.
Channel Partners and Trade Engagement:
- Design and roll out distributor loyalty program for the wholesale/rural/retail trade channel to ensure right share of visibility and business growth from these channel and ensures that the program delivers its objectives of sustainable channel growth.
- Ensures seamless rollout of the schemes/ activations by releasing all the trade scheme circulars and maintaining secondary schemes in the system before the month starts.
- Conceptualizes the rollout of focused Loyalty program for Standalone Modern trade channel to increase company's business share in this channel and coordinate the final movement of POSM material and ensure in-store execution / visual merchandising at the store enhance customer-shopping experience.
- Leads the development of an IVR channel to connect with the key retail partners and announce offers & activation directly; develops content, in coordination with the media agency, to be broadcasted to the retailers and field team.
Monthly MIS :
- Presents and updates team and Management with Business updates and MIS in terms of growth and targets set, timeline trackers on on-going activities, Key distribution metrics, general market scenario and competition performance etc.
Team Development :
- Motivates and guides team across on key aspects of the function for performance improvement and efficient service delivery.
