- Manage process of financial planning and analysis (FP&A), forecasting, budgeting, accounting, reporting and compliance requirement for portfolio companies both in US and India

- Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.

- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable government, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting

- Oversee the management and coordination of all monthly reports, fiscal statements revenue / expense sheets, cash flow statement and balance sheets for the portfolio companies for use by Executive management, as well as the Audit/Finance Committee and Board of Directors.

- Oversee the coordination and activities of independent auditors ensuring audit issues are resolved, and all compliance issues are met, and the preparation of the annual financial statements is in accordance with U.S. GAAP and Indian government, state laws

- Attend Board and Subcommittee meetings; including being the lead staff on the Audit/Finance Committee.

- Monitor banking activities of the organization; ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs.

- Find way to reduce the cost and identify the area of cost wastages.

- Assist senior management / M&A team in preparation & validation of various business plans, business cases for expansion and investments

Key Skills:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant

- At least 13 to 20 years of post-qualification finance experience

- Experience in working with software company having recurring revenue

- Prior experience working with Big 4s will be an added advantage

- Good understanding of IFRS, US GAAP and Indian GAAP

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

- Worked for F&A domain for international clients (preferably US)

- Proven people leadership skills including developing team

- Project / change management experience along with transition of work from onshore location

- Proactive approach in identifying, escalating, reporting and ensuring analyst/s team focus on critical activities. Must demonstrate personal accountability in ensuring all tasks and activities are carried out on time.

- Analytical and problem solving skills to identify and resolve queries and track issues to conclusion.
