About the opportunity :

- Seeking self-driven Credit Associate/Manager/Senior Manager to join our team to assist origination and execution of credit business across the globe. Successful candidates for this dynamic role will have at least 3 plus years of relevant experience in financing including corporate lending, leveraged finance and structured finance. These roles are ideal for a detailed oriented person with strong analytical skills, outstanding communication skills and a deep understanding of finance through experience and a degree in finance.

- Associate and Manager will be expected to take on a proactive role on execution of live transactions supporting the Senior Manager.

- Senior Manager will be fully responsible for managing and reviewing the entire lending process from start to finish working with Managing Directors/Directors (based in onshore locations US, UK etc.) across the lending portfolio to execute transactions.

Job title : Credit Associate/ Credit Manager/ Credit Senior Manager

Reporting : Structure Reporting to Managing Director

Job Location : Faridabad

Duties and responsibilities :

The full range of responsibilities for the Credit Senior Manager (and Credit Associate/ Credit Manager in a supporting role) level :

- Independently analyze, or at times work with more senior colleagues, to evaluate the risk of adding a transaction to the lending portfolio

- Understand and assess the companies- business model and its viability in the long run. Review and analyze the financial strength and soundness of the customer to identify key risks to the continued credit worthiness of the business

- Preparation and review of financial models

- Use knowledge of risk procedures and complex security to make recommendations on protecting the Group from losses and managing high-value facility risk. Consider alternative credit structures to mitigate risk where appropriate

- Identifying deal specific covenants which can act as early warning signals while monitoring loans

- Assist during due diligence process and its closure

- Meet assigned timelines and ensure documentation requirements are met per the business and audit requirements

- Creating presentations for various internal and external stakeholders

- Interacting collaboratively with senior executives, both internal and external

Key Skills & background required:

- CA or CFA or FRM or MBA (any discipline) or a Post-Graduate in Finance/Accounting

Knowledge of Credit risk as applied to :

- Unstructured Finance Domain with working experience into cash-flow lending, leverage financing and recapitalization, equity sponsor and investment, WC financing, etc.

- Structured Finance domain for ABS/RMBS/CMBS, real estate debt issuances and corporate securitizations

- Experience in commercial/investment banking channels, preferably having experience of working in SSC- s/Captives/KPO's of large global commercial banks/investment banks/financial institutions with a global and diverse portfolio.

- 7+ years for Senior Manger level

- 5+ years for Manager level

- 3+ years for Associate level

- Highly numerical and analytical with strong attention to detail

- Proven ability in managing projects independently

- Should be able to build an integrated financial model from scratch and be confident auditing or amending working models Familiar with standardized financial metrics.

- Strong knowledge of international accounting principles and guidelines with ability to analyze management information, unaudited and audited accounts

- Works effectively in a team environment, while assuming individual responsibility.

- Comfortable in a dynamic and fast changing environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain positive relationships
