About the Opportunity:
ELGi Equipments is excited to invite high-potential, early-career professionals to join our Early Talent Program a unique development pathway designed to fast-track growth and provide real-world leadership experience in a global manufacturing environment.
Through this program, selected candidates will gain extensive exposure across our business functions - Sales, Marketing, Operations, Product, Finance and develop essential skills for future leadership roles, and take ownership of a specific region or geography eventually, driving business growth and strategy execution.
As part of this exclusive program, you will step into a Sales and Marketing Manager role, designed to challenge, inspire, and prepare you for strategic leadership within ELGi.
Role & responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with clients, developing insights into their needs and preferences to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
- Market Ownership & Strategy: Take responsibility for driving sales and marketing initiatives within a designated geography or region, owning the strategic planning and execution to meet business targets.
- Cross-Functional Exposure: Participate in structured rotations across key functions, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to build a well-rounded understanding of our business model and operations.
- Global Exposure & Mobility: Collaborate with our teams across global markets (North America, Europe, Australia, Africa, Middle East, and Southeast Asia), gaining valuable insights into international business dynamics and customer needs.
- Leadership Development: Engage in hands-on projects that foster critical leadership competencies such as strategic thinking, emotional intelligence, adaptability, resilience, and business acumen.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Proven experience of 2-4 years in sales or marketing with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
- Education Qualification : Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical etc.) + MBA
Key Skills required:
- Ability to understand market dynamics and develop strategies to drive growth in a competitive landscape.
- Comfortable with taking on challenging assignments in different regions, with a flexible approach to learning and solving problems.
- Eager to take on increased responsibility and demonstrate initiative in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Strong ability to build relationships with clients, teams, and senior leadership, with a focus on collaborative success.
