- Drive design of electronic systems for automotive subsystems (IC engines and Electric Vehicles) such as Charger control unit, BMS, DC-DC converter, Motor Controller, Vehicle Controller, Engine controller, AMT controller etc. as per performance/ quality/ cost/ weight targets and plants manufacturing requirement
- Shall have strong fundamental knowledge in the electronic component designs
- Shall have good knowledge in design for EMI/EMC. Shall be able to guide in PCB designs considering EMI/EMC requirements.
- Prepare design artifacts such as Hardware requirement document, Hardware design document, Electronic stress analysis, reliability analysis, Hardware-software interface document, EMC filter design analysis report etc.
- Shall have basic knowledge of thermal design aspects.
- Must be familiar with design for six sigma (DFSS) processes
- Benchmarking and generation of ideas for better performance, quality, cost, weight etc.
- Proficient in all tools for electronics circuit design, PCB layout/routing, simulation for circuits (Altium/ LTSpice), thermal/ EMI/EMC
- Awareness about test box/fixture design
- Strong analytical skills and working experience on different analyses such as worst case, Monte Carlo, tolerance stack up, power dissipation, stress etc.
- Exposure to electronics manufacturing and validation facilities, hands on testing/ test set-up experience
