Key Responsibility Areas:
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Finalize, monitor and report purchase details of orders and deliveries
- Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
- Examine and test existing contracts
- Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
- Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
- Manage a team of procurement executives to deliver KPI set by the company
- Maintain and develop an SOP for procurement function
- Should have sound Knowledge of Retail Industry
Job Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a procurement manager, procurement officer or head of procurement
- Team Handling Experience (at least 15-20 team members)
- Should have experience in Direct Procurement and well versed in the negotiation process with the Vendors and Suppliers
- Experienced in raising Purchase Order of min. 10 Cr. a month - Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in reading the market
- Talent in negotiations and networking - Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
- Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
- Experience in collecting and analyzing data
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Masters degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
