Purpose of the Job

The role holder is responsible for the Human Resources function for South East Asia (SEA) and Africa & Middle East (AME) focusing on implementing strategic HR initiatives to drive organizational growth and operational excellence. The role holder drives Recruitment, Employee Engagement, Talent Management, and OD initiatives and implementation of all the HR policies and HR systems. The role holder interacts and builds connections with the frontline employees and brings actionable insights for the effective functioning of the HR function.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

- Acts as a strategic HR partner to business leaders, managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle across SEA & AME regions.

- End to end Hiring process right from sourcing to screening to offer negotiation and closure.

- Partners with CoEs (Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, OD, Rewards) to effectively implement people initiatives aligned to business goals, while ensuring a consistent and engaging employee experience.

- Drives both strategic interventions and operational excellence across talent, engagement, and HR processes.

- Manage onboarding, induction, and exit processes to ensure seamless transitions and a strong employer brand experience.

- Monitor attrition trends, conduct stay interviews, and work with managers to implement targeted retention strategies.

- Lead the execution of engagement surveys, action planning, and recognition programs to strengthen employee morale and connect.

- Support talent review discussions, track IDPs, and coordinate capability-building programs based on business priorities.

- Partner with mid- and senior-level leaders to align HR interventions with business objectives and enable leadership effectiveness.

- Ensure timely and accurate data updates in HRIS for operational efficiency and informed decision-making.

- Lead and execute region-specific HR projects, organizational initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.

- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, visa norms, and company policies across employment lifecycle touchpoints.

- Coordinate with external consultants and vendors to enable successful rollout of HR programs and localized processes.

Key Skills and Qualification

- MBA/PGDM in HR or related field with 5-8 years of relevant HRBP experience, preferably handling employees in countries in South East Asia & Middle East.

- Proven experience in managing the employee lifecycle including hiring, onboarding, engagement, talent development, and exit processes.

- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills to engage with mid and senior-level leaders across geographies.

- Good understanding of employment laws, statutory requirements, and HR practices relevant to South East Asia & Africa, Middle East regions.

- Data-driven mindset with working knowledge of HR analytics, dashboards, and systems.

- Ability to work in a dynamic, matrix environment with sensitivity to cultural nuances and time zone differences.
